Women find it easy to go inside, to reflect on and speak about the inner world of their thoughts and emotions. Men need to learn to go inside and awaken their inner world. Men are very quick to move to action, but we need to develop better skills for honest self-reflection and contemplation of our role in this world. (Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM). See the Male Spirituality page for dates and times.
Literally translated as "Sacred Reading", Lectio Divina involves a slow, contemplative praying of the Scriptures, which enables us to draw closer to God, and to listen to God "with the ear of our hearts." Are you interested in drawing closer to God and listening more intently to God's voice speaking to YOUR heart?
**The latest Lectio Divina session has ended. We'll post any current session here and in the bulletin.
