Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod
HHCC is an ecumenical housing ministry that provides an opportunity for people to put their faith and love into action to help make affordable housing a reality for everyone.
In partnership with local families in need, HHCC works to build homes, hope, lives, and communities on Cape Cod. Our Lady of Victory Parish continues to be a very active and productive covenant church member of HHCC. Our parishioners volunteer regularly at the building sites, respond to the continuing need for snacks and lunches especially for the Saturday construction volunteers, and are very generous in providing financial support.
All members of the Parish (16 yr. & older) are welcome to participate in this immensely satisfying ministry. As participants in the HHCC youth program, 14 and 15 yr. old boys and girls can help paint, landscape and clean-up; time spent can be used to satisfy the Confirmation-related requirements for community service.
HHCC continues to build houses throughout the Cape – more than 35 since early 1987. Workers, both skilled and unskilled are always needed.
