Landscaping Progress
Halleluiah! Paving is complete! Thank you, Jonathon Croft and Lawrence-Lynch Paving. Once it is cured, striping will be painted to maximize parking and identify handicapped lanes. Lighting is now installed in the front and rear to better illuminate parking, signage and walkways.
Our walkways are all but finalized with an impressive welcoming circle planned by DeMelo Brothers, Inc. and crafted by foreman, Bert Pereira. The circle center is in temporary form as we await engraving. Thank you Bert, and crew for the passion, patience and personal commitment now evident in the details you completed for Our Lady of Hope. We are more than pleased with the results.
Caution and Care
As we attempt to get used to our new surroundings, maneuvering through new entrances and exits, bordering lawns and irrigation at the road’s edge; we ask that you exercise caution and patience through this adjustment period.
Sadly, at the same time we’ve been exercising care, respect and stewardship for the chapel, we have experienced costly incidents of vandalism directed at our landscape improvement. We are asking our neighbors and parishioners to be vigilant and report all suspect incidents to the rectory office, 508-771-5035 ext 4. Law enforcement has been informed. Outdoor lighting hours and security measures have been extended until we are completely comfortable with the safety of our chapel grounds.
Financing
This week’s second collection directly benefits the landscape financing. Your help is needed to close the gap. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Friends, visitors and parishioners who have not yet done so, please make a pledge to help finish paying for the project. The Family Tree
Donate a little green to be green! While our landscapers are still maintaining early stage growth, consider planting a tree with your family name to adorn the chapel landscape. A $1,000 pledge will bring added beauty, shade and appreciation with your contribution.
Laser Engraved Bricks
They are heart warming, affordable …and still available for order! Celebrate life’s rewards, a loved one, or fond memory with a permanent engraving. A sample sits outside the front doors. Make a statement of support, your $100 donation engraves up to 60 characters per brick paving the way to our chapel entrance. Call Mary at 508-360-8207. Personal engraved bricks, now number about 137. They will replace blanks in the walkway as engraving lead time permits for early spring installation.
Parking Permits
Please refrain from any parking bordering the church property along 6A and Parker Road. In addition to damaging lawn seeding, sprinkler heads are located very close to the edge of the roadways.
The front driveway has been designated as a drop off point and temporarily as parking only for people with infirmities or disabilities. Please leave this area open for those who need to be closer to the entrance.

Table: Custom made by Tom Sullivan, a parishioner and skilled furniture-maker. There are many options starting at $1,000 and up. This is a great way to make your gift.
