    Ministry of the Month
Did you know there are over 40 active ministries here at Our Lady of Victory parish. Periodically we will feature a new ministry in our bulletin and here on our website. Keep an eye on the bulletin and here for more info in the coming month!
See our Ministry of the Month page for more.

In 2009, almost 2000 church-attending Christians witnessed a video,“Portraits of Ministry.” (if you were away you can view Portraits of Ministry here >> and see the video at home).  The compelling story simply put our flesh, a life of service in love, on Jesus’ teaching.

Welcome!

We extend a warm welcome to you and other viewers who visit our Parish on the Net. We hope you'll find this "extension" of our Parish inviting and interesting. Please know that you are most welcome to visit us, literally, by sharing in weekend worship at our main church, Our Lady of Victory, or our beautiful Chapel, Our Lady of Hope. If we can be of service to you, personally, please don't hesitate to e-mail and we willreturn a message a.s.a.p! An anonymous author has written, "There are two words used a great deal by Jesus in the Gospels. One is 'Come' and the other is 'Go'. It's no use coming unless you go, and it's no use going unless you come."

WEEKLY PASTORAL MESSAGE

From Father Perry:

As we celebrated the wondrous feast of Christmas a few days ago, I would like to thank all responsible for preparing to make the celebrations so beautiful.  There are countless details that go on, so please know of my gratitude for anything that anyone did to make the celebration of Christmas more meaningful.  Read more >>

A SPECIAL NOTE FROM FR. PERRY REGARDING MASS CHANGES

As we begin a New Year it is a time to look to the past and to anticipate the future.  We can pause and give thanks for past blessings and because of our faith and trust in the Lord we can move forward with the confidence that only faith can bring to us. Please know that you remain in my prayers as I ask you to pray for me as we start a new year, that we can grow in faith together and that our parishes will flourish as we make the message of Christ real to the world of 2015.
I am sure that you are aware of the priest scheduling problems that have occurred with the sickness of Fr. Tarrant, Msgr. Moore and Msgr. Perry.  Fr. Soucy will be gone soon for a well-deserved vacation it is necessary to make a change in the Mass schedule.  Please see here for the rest of the letter >>

AMERICA MAGAZINE.....

Exclusive interview with Pope Francis   - “the church needs most today is the ability to heal wounds and to warm the hearts of the faithful; it needs nearness, proximity. I see the church as a field hospital after battle.”
